JON PARDI RELEASES NEW SONG “TEQUILA LITTLE TIME” OFF HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED HEARTACHE MEDICATION ALBUM DUE OUT SEPT. 27

Headlining Heartache Medication Tour Kicks Off with Sold-Out, Back-To-Back Nights at Nashville’s Historic Ryman Auditorium Oct. 1-2

ACM/CMA award-winning artist Jon Pardi releases “Tequila Little Time” off his highly-anticipated album Heartache Medication (Capitol Nashville), due out on Sept. 27. “Tequila Little Time” opens with a wall of horns before dipping into a dreamy accordion and stylized string plucking and instrumentation, a sound rooted in the influences of mariachi bands. Written by Pardi, Rhett Akins and Luke Laird, the laid-back carefree song is about forgetting the past and having a little fun. See the story behind “Tequila Little Time” HERE. To hear the full song along with previously released “Me and Jack,” “Ain’t Always the Cowboy,” the title track, and to pre-order Heartache Medication, click HERE.

Heartache Medication is a collection of 14 feel-good tracks, with seven of them co-written by Pardi. “Don’t Blame It On Whiskey” features Lauren Alaina on vocals and was written by Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Michael Heeney and Luke Laird. Pardi returns as a co-producer for the third time with Heartache Medication, and teams up again with California Sunrise co-producer Bart Butler and with Ryan Gore joining as first-time co-producer.

Heartache Medication has been featured by the Associated Press, Billboard and Rolling Stone as a traditional set of songs that punch the radio dial with an album that is an even stronger dose of twang than its predecessors. Music Row called the rising star “…a beacon lighting up the darkness to lead us back to true country music (Music Row) and People.com recently shared the music video for the title track (View HERE).

Recognized for his “state-of-the-art blend of traditional instrumentation and progressive grooves that points to the country’s future” (Rolling Stone) and as “a leader among a growing number of artists bringing back fiddle, steel and twang while still finding ways to freshen the sound” (People)Heartache Medication is the follow up to Pardi’s co-produced Platinum-selling breakthrough No. 1 album California Sunrise, which featured Multi-Platinum, chart-topping hits including “Dirt on My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache on the Dancefloor” and “Night Shift.” A pre-order of Heartache Medication is available, here: http://strm.to/HeartacheMedicationPR.

Upcoming stops along the tour include Minneapolis, MN (10/4), Milwaukee, WI (10/5) and Oklahoma City, OK (10/10). Riley Green will serve as direct support.
