I went to the Billy Bobs concert on 08/27/10 as kind of a favor to someone because they had extra tickets. I was somewhat aware of JJ, but not really. That said, this was my first JJ experience and I'm hear to report that I absolutely loved it. I have drowned myself in JJ info and music ever since the show. The Dude is just 100% real and awesome. After the greats had passed on (Waylon, Cash...), I thought I'd never hear "that sound" again. I'm hear to tell you its back thanks to JJ and I'm such a big fan now. What he does is real country music! I apologize for my lack of knowledge here, but who was the guy that joined him on stage. That series of songs they sang together was just great. The music gods have blessed JJ and renewed my faith in country music. 9/1/2010 00:24:00 PST
