My husband and I saw Billy's show at Joe's Pub in Manhattan last night! What a wonderful time we had! The place was packed! Billy was in great voice and played guitar so very well. Of course, he sang "People Are Crazy" which turned into a huge sing-a-long! The last song he performed was the Kenny Rogers hit "Sweet Music Man." (I recall Billy said in an interview that he's a big KR fan.) There also were 3 other songwriters/singers who joined him for this show and they weren't slackers, either!
After the show, Billy took the time to meet his fans, sign autographs, and pose for countless pics. He didn't leave until he met everyone who wanted to meet him, and there were a lot of us! It was so informal and laid back cool. He was very gracious, kind, patient, and so much fun to talk to! Billy is a class act both on and off the stage. Thanks so much, Billy! 7/31/2009 14:28:00 PST
