Sugar-Moments
This week, I've had several notable Sugarland moments, so I felt that it would only be fitting to record some of them. First of all: Incredible Machine. Almost ONE MONTH away!!!! I cannot wait. I've been trying to decide what songs to listen to first, but I think I'm just gonna have to give up and listen to them in order because there's absolutely no way for me to decide. But get this, I have a dentist appointment on October 19. Coincidence?? I think not! Little did I know six months ago, when we scheduled my dentist appointment that it would happen to fall on the same day as the release of the most anticipated album of my life! I thought that was pretty crazy. So anyway, that will give me a little more time to listen to it. I'm hoping that it will be available at midnight with the pre-sale thing. Of course, I'll be waking up to check regardless. In other news, I got an A+ on my paper about the Incredible Machine concert! We were supposed to write about a significant event in our lives. Obvious choice for me :) I wrote about seeing Brandon and meeting Annie (pretty much like my review on this website) and my teacher was like, "How did you get to meet those people?!" Then yesterday, my family and I were with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins, and my seven year old cousin Forrest informed us that Taylor Swift is his favorite singer, then proceeded in singing You Belong With Me while nodding his head and dancing around. It was adorable :) So then my other cousin Caroline who's my age and I got my ipod out and started playing my six year old sister's favorite song, All I Want To Do. It was so cute to see her come out of her shell and sing along with us. Next time I'm gonna have to get her on video. All my friends say I've trained her really well because every time I offer to let her listen to music and ask her what she wants to hear she says Sugarland. Yesterday when we had to leave, she was crying so I was like, "Here, do you wanna watch a video?" And she nodded with tears going down her face and she goes, "I wanna see Sugarland," while she was crying. It was really sweet, so I let her pick and she chose Everyday America. Before long she was smiling and saying, "That boy is so silly!" (Refering to Kristian playing the guitar in the grocery store). She kept my ipod most of the way home and watched almost every video, making random comments about Jennifer's hair was long in one video then short in another and things like that. She was actually watching Yo Gabba Gabba the other day and she starts screaming my name, so I ran out of my room all worried that something was wrong and she goes, "Laura!! It's Sugarland on my show!!" So of course I had to hurry downstairs to watch Jennifer and Kristian do the Electric Eel :) I love when other people want to talk about Sugarland. All my friends know that I love them so they're always coming up to me going, "Have you heard that new song? Have you seen the video? Did you see them on the awards show last night?" Etc. It pretty much makes my day when I turn somebody else on to Sugarland :) Okay, I think I've procrastinated doing my homework and cleaning long enough, but I'd love to hear some of your Sugar-moments, so please feel free to comment!
