Spending my holidays with Sugarland!
Hello everyone! Well Sugarland has done it again (and twice at that...) First of all they put together and UNBELIEVABLE holiday album =) And to top that off, while I was in the middle of preparing this blog (a holiday blog at that) the site layout was changed to match the season! Anyways...As some of you may know, this is my first year really away from my family and home. (For those of you who dont know, I moved 13 hours away from PA to SC) Family has always been a huge part of who I am, and now that we are heading into this holiday season I am really starting to miss some of those times. Being that I have never really lived more than 3 hours away while going to school it sure is a huge change. It is so weird to wake up and realize that I've already missed the first snowfall up there or to realize winter weekends won't consist of shoveling my car out of 10ft of snow, sitting by the fireplace or baking cookies with my mama. I'm glad to be out on my own but holidays sure do make you miss the ones you love! I will be going back up there for a week during Christmas, but until then I am lucky enough to have Sugarland with me! I hope to start some new traditions like decorating the house or baking cookies with some my new friends (while luring them into the Sugarland greatness with G&G playing in the background of course!) The new holiday cd - Gold and Green - has came out at just the perfect time and is helping me make that new transition in my life. So thank you so much Sugarland! I often feel like I am destined to follow them because they always release something great when I have these huge moments going on in my life. They are there when I need them and it is such an amazing feeling =) I also have to throw a thank you out to everyone I have met and interact with thru Sugarland. Some of you have basically become my "family" away from home and I always love our convos =) I hope by now everyone has found a copy of the album. I know I had trouble and searched the city for 5 hours just to find it! If I dont get another blog up anytime soon, I hope everyone has a great holiday season! Oh and I would love to hear what everyone's favorite song off the album is. I have mine narrowed down to City of Silver Dreams, Maybe Baby, Silent Night, or Coming Home (haha ok -- maybe just the whole cd =)) If you want to chat up just hit me on the tweeter @dani1nicole4 !! XOXO <3
