Reba was honored with the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award during the 46th annual ASCAP Country Music Awards on Oct. 13 at the Ryman Auditorium.

"'Reba is one of the greatest singers ever in country music,' says Connie Bradley, ASCAP senior vice president. "She won CMA Female Vocalist four times and Entertainer of the Year once. Not only is Reba a phenomenal country singer, but she's had a hit Broadway show and a hit television series. She has always stayed Reba and always stayed true to country music.

"'Songwriters really love Reba because she has remained open to their material throughout her career.'

"Reba has sold more than 55 million records and earned 31 No. 1 hits, including 'Can't Even Get the Blues,' 'Little Rock,' 'Whoever's in New England' and 'Does He Love You.'

"Past ASCAP Golden Note winners include Stevie Wonder, Garth Brooks, Quincy Jones and Michael W. Smith."

Reba invited her friends Joanna Garcia and Steve Howey to portray the parents in her music video for “Every Other Weekend,” which is airing on all video channels today.

In the hit sitcom REBA (which can be seen daily on the Lifetime Television Network,)

Joanna Garcia plays the role of Reba’s daughter, Cheyenne, and Steve Howey plays the role of her son-in-law, Van. So, when it came time for the mother and father roles to be cast, Reba naturally thought of them.

The video, directed by Roman White, has a very realistic storyline and features the parents meeting at a playground parking lot to exchange children, toys and back packs for the weekend. Reba narrates the story and she witnesses the lingering love between the mom and dad when they accidentally wind up hand in hand and time stands still.

Entertainment superstars, Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson, concluded their limited engagement 2 WORLDS 2 VOICES TOUR in Kansas City on February 16, 2008.

When the show kicked off in Dayton, Ohio on January 17^th, the tour played to 15 sold out crowds totaling over 125,000 people, before ending in front of 13,000 people at the new Sprint Center in Kansas City.

In an unprecedented format, both acts stayed on stage for the entire concert – trading off lead and background vocals throughout the show. Both artists’ bands were combined to create one superstar band for the 5 week event.
