Share Thank you for a wonderful song. I truly can relate to the song even though my late husband and I never had any children together. I just look at his children and the grandchildren and I see him in them. It reminds me why I fell in love with him so long ago. He and I always had our morning coffee together. Thank you for the song Love Lives On....I lost my husband August 2008 to Hodgkin's Lymphoma complications. He was only 29 years old and we have a great little boy and he's only 3. My husband fought this 2 1/2 years and never gave up his believing in God. When I hear the song it makes me want to go on even more now,,since the 1 year anniversary I've struggled with all kinds of emotions. But what God gave us in our son I will never be able to forget him and when my son looks in the mirror he will see his dad in him and that makes me so blessed and loved by God. I lost my 25 year old son to cancer on Dec. 5,2008. He has a wife and 2 little girls ages 3 and 16 months. My daghter in law heard this song and introduced me to it, and it is so fitting to our lives and even though this song makes us cry, it speaks the truth that love does live on through his precious little girls that he adored with all his heart. "Love Lives On" ... the first time I heard this song was a week after my fiance past away suddenly in a motorcycle accident this September... Every single word gave me goosebumps. It is like it was wrote for us... We have a little baby girl who is 10 months old & we to married this December. The love we had was like no other & completely indescribable...he was my best friend. Thank you so much for this song! I just listened to it for the first time about ten minutes ago and I am still crying. Wow! I just can say that. The song Love Lives On really touched me and I was just became obliged to become a fan. How is that for a song you've heard once and an artist you've never heard about? I got to this site after I heard the song & was curious to find if what she sang in the song is related to her life experience in anyway. Don't have that answer, but am a fan, now, I mean 10mins ago. "Love Lives On" and the other 2 songs on the EP are amazing. Mallary is a true blessing to country music. "Love Lives On" has made me cry countless times. I remember the first time I heard it, it was actually the video. I'd never seen it, so I sat down on my bed & watched. By the end, I was in tears. I cried for a good 10 minutes. "Love Lives On" is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. I first heard it yesterday on our local radio station and I was in a complete come-apart by the time it was over. I live every word of this song every day of my life. My husband died of brain cancer in December. We also have a little girl that I take to the cemetary. She was his little princess. That's what he called her. We miss him every day and always will. Thank you so much for this song. It is absolutely wonderful. So touching. I'm sure it will go straight to the top.
