Yet another wonderful song by the great George Strait. This song touches my heart in a special way. My daughter was born last Nov. 2008 and when I found out I was pregnant in March, I went through a lot of emotions trying to decide whether or not I should go through with giving birth. See, I am a single mom. I would have to raise her on my own with no guarantee that her dad would be involved in her life. I finally decided to give birth to my beautiful daughter and have not regretted it one single bit! I began pushing at 4:30pm and she was born at......yep, 5:08pm. The first time I heard this song I almost stopped my car in the middle of the road. I couldn't believe the song mentioned my daughter's birth time! My daughter is also truly a miracle as I 1) had her at age 34 and 2) I had 2 miscarriages before her. Yet another reason why I decided to keep her. Thank you George for this song that I will treasure for the rest of my life. My daughter's first birthday is coming up and I will be making her a video using her pictures from birth to 1 year old with your song so that she can view it when she is older. The day this song was released (19th Feb) my daugther Kaitlyn who was born on the 12th of February underwent heart surgery at Texas Childrens in Houston, TX me and my wife have been back and forth everyday to the hospital alterating staying the night with her since she has been in the hospital i heard this song on the way home from the hospital the day of her surgery to be with our 3 year old son while mommy stood watch over our little girl that night it brought a tear to my eyes thank you george for such a touching song.
