Scotty Wins at CMT Awards

Last night the streets of Nashville, TN were filled with country fans swarming to the Bridgestone Arena for the 11th Annual CMT Music Awards. It was a great night for country music, and an even greater night for Scotty! In addition to his performance on the Nationwide Insurance Stage, Scotty also took home the award for USA Weekend's Breakthrough Video of the Year.
McCreery beat out a few other country stars, specifically Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes, Pistol Annies, Thompson Square, and American Idol's Lauren Alaina for this title.
"Great night at the #CMTAwards! Huge thanks to all the fans for putting in the votes, and CMT for playing the videos!" tweeted Scotty after his win. Congratulations, Scotty!
