Lionel Richie was inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame Monday night and recalled his earliest gigs playing in Harlem. Taking the stage, the singer recounted arriving in New York with his 1970s group the Commodores, from Alabama, and all of their equipment was stolen before the gig.
