News
New Lee Ann on Country Strong soundtrack
The original motion picture soundtrack to the Screen Gems feature film, Country Strong has been released. Lee Ann Womack, along with film stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund, and Leighton Meester all contribute tracks to the collection, with one song each from Hedlund and Meester. McGraw and Paltrow perform the duet “Me And Tennessee,” and Paltrow also sings three more tracks on the album.
Other artists included on the collection are Trace Adkins, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Patty Loveless, Hank Williams, Jr., and Chris Young.
The first single, at country radio now, is Paltrow’s “Country Strong,” with background vocals by Vince Gill and Patty Griffin.
