Julie Roberts puts the icing on the cake
Country Music Teams Decorate Cakes for T.J. Martell Foundation
Julie and her mother Sandra were one of the celebrity teams that paired with top cake designers to create the ultimate country music song cakes at the inaugural Celebrity Cake Decorating Competition on Sunday, July 1 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort benefiting the T.J. Martell Foundation.
Julie and Sandra Roberts with cake designer Martin Howard took the Best of Show Award with their “Men and Mascara” themed cake. The cake was a take off of Julie’s song from her sophomore album on Mercury Records. "I am normally the one in the kitchen watching Mama and tasting everything as she bakes, so it was a blast working with Martin and learning about decorating cakes and homemade chocolate!" said Roberts. "It was all for a good cause... You can't beat that!"
