The influence of George Strait seems apparent, even obvious, in his first release. It's nice to hear a new, young country artist who professes his musical love for the traditional stuff. I hope he stays true to that. It has worked well for Country Music giants Merle Haggard, George Jones, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. They didn't give in to the hype of the industry, and they've all had long (and continuing) careers. They've stuck to what they loved, and they are true giants in the industry.
Good luck Easton. I look forward to many more hits, and the luxury of having another young artist who appreciates REAL country music.
Thank you....from a fan, and someone who buys "albums."11/12/2009 2:21 AM (GMT-08:00)
